CitrixTools.Net Tools are Slow to Launch

When troubleshooting an EdgeSight 5.0 SP1 Issue on XenApp 4.5 HRP03, I got the Following workaround from Citrix (as originally this is a DotNet Framework Issue) to deal with the "Citrix End User Experiencing Monitoring Service" not starting correctly :

Create a SemsService.exe.config file within the %ProgramFiles%\Citrix\EUEM\Service\ folder with the following content

  • Save the File
  • Please Note that this Fix requires the DotNet Framework SP1 to be installed (or at least the Relevant Hotfix from KB 886695)

    Bonjour Pierre,

il y'a exactement le même problème avec la console AMC.
Il faut créer le fichier c:\windows\system32\mmc.exe.config dont le contenu est identique à celui indiqué dans l'article.

Translation From previous comment : The same problem exists with the Access Management Console (AMC) and creating an mmc.exe.config file in %windir%\system32 will solve the issue (as stated in XenApp 5.0 for Windows 2008 Readme | CTX113393)

Note that this configuration affects all Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-ins and there is a small chance it could cause some snap-ins to cease functioning. Be sure to test your other MMC snap-ins after making this change.
