Following my First Blog Post regarding this subject we've been able to work on this issue with both Microsoft and Citrix support.

To find an alternative to the workaround mentionned in the first article, we did some tests and found that the issue could be stopped by disabling "Netbios over TCP" on the dedicated streaming NIC without habing to disable Microsoft Services.

By Default, this option is Set to Use DHCP settings wich means enabled if the DHCP is not specifying to disable it.

You can disable it manually or configure it throught the DHCP Server :

  1. To Disable it manually Select the Following Option :

  1. You can also configure this setting directly on the DHCP Server to impact all streamed devices. To do so go to DHCP Scope / Server Options and set the following properties :

Following the tests we've done using this setting only on the streaming network NIC is enough to get rid of the issue without having to consider potential issues related to the Microsoft Services disablement.
