Hi!
did anyone already experience this problem? I had it the last two installations...
After creating the vDisk in provisioning server when I am booting a NEW server from the vdisk the ima-service fails to start with service specific error code -2147483655. Due to this problem the xenapp server doesn't join the farm.
I found out that after executing a "dsmaint recreatelhc" manually from within the provisioned server I can start the ima-service. Then it integrates into the farm immediately and works correctly from that moment on.
My Question:
Shouldn't the Citrix Cloning Tool do exactly this automatically? So why isn't it working for me? I can see no errors regarding the cloning tool service in the event logs. Only errors regarding the failed ima-service. When the preparing of the LHC did not work as it should are there eventually any other components that failed too that I didn't have found out yet?
