Hi,

I've recently come across this site and its really useful tools, however I'm trying to test out the XenApp Session Cleaner but it doesnt appear to be excluding the profiles that I've specified. I've listed them as follows- "Domain(or Servername)\Username; Domain\Username" but when it runs these profiles are cleaned regardless.

Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

I need more informations on this.

SERVERNAME\Username is not going to work, you have to use LOCALHOST\Username for this.

DOMAINNAME\UserName should work

We can do a Goto Meeting if you need more help.

Best Regards,

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

Thanks for your reply, I've amended the ones I had as SERVERNAME\Username to LOCALHOST\Username, that makes perfect sense as one statement would apply to all the applied Citrix servers.

I have DOMAINNAME\Administrator in the exclusions but after running the profile cleaner it reports in the application log that Processing DOMAINNAME\Administrator [Skipped : Loaded]. Is this correct even though I have this as an exclusion?

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Yes this is correct as the tool first tests if the profile is loaded and then if it's excluded.

If it's loaded the tool is exiting from the test loop so it does not go further.

Best Regards,

Pierre

Thanks for confirming Pierre I suspected this was the case, I'll give it another try.

Cheers,

Paul
