Hi Pierre
I'm testing your XenApp Cloning tool (it rocks) and I have experienced an issue with the Configuration plugin... During the setup, I have been prompted for the login/password used by the Cloning Service Configuration Plugin service account... My mistake was to specify the login name without the domain name ( "username" instead of "domain\username", ok, it's stupid)... The setup ended without any error... I was able to launch the GUI and set the configuration up (Load Evaluator, published apps)...
In standard mode, the configuration was not applied... I checked the service and I noticed that the Cloning Service Configuration Plugin service was missing in the services MMC snap-in... Then, I checked the registry and some keys were missing in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CitrixTools Cloning Service Configuration Plugin...
Reinstalling and giving the correct username (domain\username) fixes this issue... It seems that the installer doesn't populate registry when an invalid name format is given (without any error message)... Maybe you should check for the right username syntax or add a specific field for the domain name?
This was the only pitfall... These tools are great... Thank you, Pierre...
