When I used App Export Manager to export my PS 4.0 apps and import them into my XA 5.0 farm it checked the box on the newly created apps to create a desktop shortcut even though my original apps had this unchecked.  I did a search and replace in the .ctxtools export for that parameter, set it to 0 and did a re-import and it corrected that.

Then I used App Manager to add the Citrix admins global group to all the XA 5.0 apps and when it did that it set the desktop icon flag on all the apps again.  I had to re-run app manager against all the apps and specify set the desktop icon creation to not be flagged.

So both apps are erroneously setting the "create desktop icon" flag.  I have both apps using the 2.5.8.0 version of the "CitrixTools XenApp Utilities.dll" file.
