XenApp Sessions Cleaner - Not Initiating a Reboot

Hi All, I had been using an older version of the cleanup tool without problems across our Server 2003, PS 4.0 farm.

I upgraded it a while ago and had a problem with the service account's rights to log on as a service. This has been fixed however the when SC goes to reboot after the cleaning takes place it doesnt....  There is an event in the event log for the shutdown however it doesnt take place, thus logons are not enabled.

Can anyone help ?

Many Thanks

John.

I Disabled the auto reboot, and scheduled a reboot instead, However when the process runs i get this in the event log -

An Error Occured In The Microsoft Library :

Exception : System.Security.Principal.IdentityNotMappedException: Some or all identity references could not be translated.

Can any one help please ?

Cheers

John

Dear John,

Are you using a local administrator account for the service ?

Best Regards,

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I am using a domain account that we use as a service account.

The account has local admin rights, logon as a service rights

Many Thanks

John

Dear Johny,

Sorry for the delay, I did not had much time to work on this last weeks.

The Security exception was linked to the Purge Profiles Thread.

I've fixed this in the latest release (you can get it by re download the tool).

Please let me know.

Regarding the reboot thread, please ensure that the Day and time match your current locales. If the reboot thread runs correctly, you should see a reboot log from the service.

Best Regards,

Pierre
