Im not sure that the problem is XenApp Cloning Tool, but perhaps someone can tell me what i am doin wrong.

I wold like to clone a Virtual (Vmware Vphere) XenApp 5.0 server, on a windows 2008 32 bit platform.

I have installed the OS, Application server service, and Terminal services. I can make a template of that with no problems"Gold1", and create a new VM from that template.

But when I install Citrix ZenApp 5.0 on top of that template "Gold1", and running the XenApp Cloning Tool, with the following settings " Standard, With service set to not start at next reboot". Now I am making a new template "NewTemplate".

When I create a new VM from this template "NewTemplate", The template is not able to join the domain.

I have tryied to create a Template"NEWTemplate2" with Gold1, and only installing Zenapp.

When I create a new VM from "NEWTemplate2". That VM can not automaticaly join the domain.

However I can manually join them.

The problem occurs only after XenApp is installed!!!

I have NO problem creating a VM from at template with 2008, Application service, Terminal Service.

My solution on this problem is.. Join domain manually after the VM is created, afterwards start the Cloning tool service, and edit the mf20.dns, with the new computername.

I just dont understand why the new VM is unable to join the domain after Zenapp is installed.
